What a finish! David Ragan and David Gilliland win one for the little guys. Front Row Motorsports gets its first win with a 1-2 at Talladega.
Carl Edwards looked to have it won on the last lap, but Ragan got by him on the backstretch and blocked like crazy coming to the finish. Another 1-2-3 for Ford, with Ragan, Gilliland and Edwards.
Front Row’s previous best race might have been the 2011 Daytona 500, when Ford got a 1-2-3 with Trevor Bayne, Edwards and Gilliland.
Ragan’s win is the first for a car No. 34 since Wendell Scott won in December 1963 at Speedway Park in Jacksonville, Fla. — still the only win for a black driver in the Cup series.
